Today, the Iris is widely associated with spiritual introspection of the soul, while in the past the eye had been merely a transmitting organ. The eye casts its rays onto the world to create perception. Iris synthesizes these two opposites, by taking the form of a luminous wall lamp that projects its rays onto the world and of an eye representing the window to the soul.
A TRUE FAMILY STORY. Founded in 2021 by Victor, a dedicated glassblower and designer trained under luminaries like Phillip Baldwin and Monica Guggisberg, Atelier Stokowski is a labor of love shared with his brothers, Theo and Jimmy. Nestled just outside Paris, this workshop masters ancient techniques like glassblowing, engraving, sandblasting, and filigreeing. Here, glass comes to life, shaped into poetic and delicate decorative and lighting pieces. Each creation is a testament to their artistry, a fusion of tradition and innovation, making Atelier Stokowski a name synonymous with craftsmanship and creativity.
